What Really Bothers Me About Doug Casey

One of my readers forwarded me one of Doug Casey’s recent International Man emails today.

In the body of the email was this investment pitch:

First of all, anyone cannot buy this asset, as the investment “opportunity” advertisement very stupidly and falsely claims. $5,000 greatly exceeds my annual income, so I cannot take advantage of it. Indeed, a small starting stake of $5,000 greatly exceeds the annual income of the vast majority of humans on this planet.

So the great bulk of humanity cannot take part in Doug Casey’s “asset” opportunity. Doug Casey is simply lying.

Only the wealthy can buy it. Only people for whom $5,000 is walking around money can buy it.

The reality is that Doug Casey, the International Man who globe trots the world, is fundamentally out of synch with the vast majority of the global population. He talks about freedom and investment opportunities, about taking advantage of the strategies employed by the billionaire class.

While he is surrounded on every hand by billions of people living in squalor and misery, whose annual income is greatly exceeded by the $5,000 investment opportunity that he goes on about.

Here’s the International Man come on: Retire to Ecuador, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Thailand, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, etc. Live well, as your money increases thanks to the miracle of compound interest. Get a second passport for only $500,00!!

Hire a local maid for $3.00 per day. Get a yard man for only $5 per week. Enjoy a cost of living that’s only 20% of what you would pay in the U$$A, Inc., as you count your steadily accruing million$ in your offshore bank account(s). Have a local peasant wash your socks and wax your car, as you sip a strawberry daiquiri in a hammock slung between two palm trees in your front yard, and watch the sunset across the tropical lagoon.

And on every side there are millions of people living in grinding poverty.

That’s what I really do not like about Doug Casey and others of his ilk: their arrogance and unctuous sense of rich entitlement.

Once Upon A Time In Palestine

I am reminded of a comment that Jesus made centuries ago:

The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. He thought to himself, “What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.” Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. And I’ll say to myself: You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.’”

But God said to him, “You fool! This very night your life will be required of you.”

Once Upon A Time In Washington-DC

You see, it’s all coming down. The whole kit and caboodle. I spotted this photo on the Internet several days go that brings the impending collapse into much sharper focus:

It’s purportedly the Federal Reserve Headquarters in Washington-DC, wrapped in huge white tarps from ground to roof. Allegedly the Treasury Department, one block over from the White House, is also covered by huge, white tarps.

The U$$A, Inc. is massively bankrupt, that’s the crux of the matter. It’s going out of business. The unknown trillions of dollars of debt that it owes cannot, and will not, be paid to the creditors. The Monopoly™-funny-money-game is ending, and catastrophically so.

This is why major warfare, both within and without the U$$A, Inc., is imminently about to break out.

The Pentagon/NATO are pouring thousands of troops, and many billions of dollars of weapons, war materiel and ammunition, into the Middle East right now, and also into the Western Pacific/East Asian region. I mean nuclear bombers, aircraft carrier battle groups, nuclear missile firing submarines, amphibious assault strike forces, and more.

It won’t matter in the end.

The U$$A, Inc./Pentagon/NATO/Europe/South Korea/Japan/Australia will suffer very heavy losses.

By the end of 2025, and quite possibly much sooner than that, the (radioactive?) dust will begin to settle, and terms of surrender will be forcefully imposed upon the U$$A, Inc. and its military and political allies.

At the conclusion of WW II the U$$A, Inc. moved many thousands of military occupation troops into Germany and Japan. Large corporate U$$A military garrisons remain in both countries to this day. At the conclusion of open military hostilities on the Korean Peninsula in the 1950s, the corporate U$$A garrisoned many thousands of troops in what is now South Korea. They remain there to this day.

But time moves on. The corporate U$$A and its Pentagon/NATO mercenaries are imminently going to get their scruffy hind parts handed to them on a silver serving platter, courtesy of China/Russia/Iran/North Korea. Expect to see foreign military occupation troops in the CONUS at some point within the next year or three.

Remember: war is a ruthless business. Winners take what and whom they want. The foreign troops will invade with heavy armed force to take possession of their corporate masters’ $75 trillion dollar war plunder (seaports, railroads, farms, fields, mines, canals, factories, shipyards, airports, forests, rivers, highways, everything), and to ride herd at gunpoint over whatever corporate U$$A slaves manage to survive the military onslaught.

It’s going to be ugly.
