The War Continues
The V. Putin - D. Trump summit meeting in Alaska earlier today has turned out exactly as I expected: it looks like the war in the Ukraine will continue to grind on until the Russian Federation decides that it is finished.
Both presidents made wonderfully vague statements after the talks that utterly failed to concretely reveal precisely what was discussed.
The bottom line is that we truly do not know with any specificity what they talked about.
Expect (more) war. That was my analysis before the summit. What happened today in Alaska has so far done nothing to change my mind.
