Today’s serendipitous nugget in the daily news cycle is that NASA’s Martian rover has unexpectedly (allegedly) found pure, elemental sulfur on Mars, in surface rocks. Here, read about it on the Newsweek website:
NASA Makes Surprising Yellow Find on Mars: 'It Shouldn't Be There' https://www.newsweek.com/mars-sulfur-crystals-curiosity-rover-1927570
Mind you, this is a “new” news item. The rover ran over some rocks on May 30, less than two months ago. The rocks cracked open, and surprisingly revealed deposits of pure sulfur, which NASA claims have never previously been seen on Mars.
Pay very close attention: NASA says that the sulfur should not be there; that finding pure sulfur on Mars is like finding a desert oasis.
Let Me Decode The Evasive NASA Speak
I don’t know why NASA has such trouble with speaking plainly, as do all the other alphabet soup agencies. The truth is foreign to their nature. It’s shameful.
So permit me to translate NASA’s cryptic pronouncement and peel back one of truth’s protective layers, as Neil Armstrong awkwardly put it many years ago.
To begin with, when NASA says that finding pure sulfur on Mars is like finding a desert oasis, think about what a desert oasis is: a place in the middle of the desert where there is life! - - there are date palms, reeds, a pond or lake with fish, etc. in the middle of endless miles of barren desert.
When NASA says that pure sulfur shouldn’t be there, understand that the rocks the rover is investigating in Gale Crater are sedimentary, not volcanic; so finding pure sulfur there means that it formed in sedimentary rocks, and therefore not as a result of volcanic activity.
What NASA knows is that on Earth, one of the ways that pure sulfur occurs is as a result of anaerobic bacterial activity. The official story line of NASA is that there is no life on Mars, and yet the Mars rover has just discovered pure sulfur in an ancient sedimentary geological context, not too unlike the coastal geology on Earth where sulfur is often found.
My personal belief is that there is now, and was in the past, life on Mars. My presumption is that NASA knows, or strongly suspects, that the sulfur the rover has just found in sedimentary rocks in Gale Crater is the result of anaerobic bacterial activity on Mars.
NASA therefore publicly says that it shouldn’t be there - - because it is evidence for life on Mars and NASA’s rigid public stance is that Mars is/was a dead planet, devoid of biological life.
